Important
Use with Centerlock rotors only.
* Centerlock is Shimano’s patented technology, which is why we created our lockrings to mate with this system perfectly. During our R&D process, we found that DT Swiss and Carbon-Ti use different tolerances when cutting the threads in their hubs, this results in our lockrings having more resistance during installation on those hubs. This is normal, and installation can be completed with the appropriate lockring tool
How to mount Centerlock Lockring:
Place centerlock disc rotor on the centerlock splines on the hub. Apply a drop or two of medium strength Loctite (for eg 243) on the threads of the lockring and close the lockring with Max 40Nm. To do this you will need regular bottom bracket (hollowtech II) tool. Do not over tighten. Loctite is necessary because the lockring doesn't have knurled backside.
